Important announcement from WorldLabs
It’s been a big year for WorldLabs!
We have been overjoyed with the response since the launch of our brand new platform in mid-2018. We received national coverage in The Times and Business Weekly, and were backed by high-profile individuals at Cambridge University, UCL and more. From there, our user-base has grown beyond our expectations.
Within just a few months, we reached over 7,000 innovators from around the world, 1,000+ live projects, hundreds of thousands of pounds in funding contests from external organisations, and established partnerships with leading institutions around the world.
Our user-base is passionate. We have thousands of groundbreaking ventures, ranging from tech, healthcare, social innovation, agriculture, energy and many more. The quality and dedication of our users’ projects really surpassed anything we could have realistically hoped for.
The changemakers interacting on WorldLabs have created everything from a diagnostic glove that uses ultrasound and machine learning to detect breast cancer, to an ethical recruitment agency for domestic-workers in Southeast Asia, to a small piece of code that can detect emotional intelligence. The real satisfaction though, comes from seeing the projects grow and develop on the platform, as they make a greater impact on the world.
We are really excited about our new partnerships and features we have coming up in 2019, and we’d love for you to become a part of our journey.
